Project details

What we need
  • Significant update to Organization’s existing CMS website, such as adding a new page, customizing a theme, adjusting layout, etc.
  • Smaller update to Organization's non-CMS website
Additional details

My organization is co-leading Healthy LA, a regional coalition network of over 300 organizations that are advocating for strong COVID emergency response and recovery efforts that protect tenants, workers, small businesses, and immigrants. We have a WordPress website that is boring, clunky and crowded. We need to refresh the website to be more user friendly, and where anyone can go to find information and access our resources.

What we have in place
  • We currently have content and a list of some changes we want to make to site, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a few limited staff, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,586 , allowing us to pay staff for their time dedicated to winning tenant protection policies and leverage federal CARES act money for permanent affordable housing.

As we face a global pandemic that is disproportionately impacting low-income communities of color in devastating ways, it is important for the over 300 organizations involved in the Healthy LA coalition as well as others to be able to access information and resources from our website on how to take action and demand that our elected leaders prioritize low-income communities of color in their recovery efforts.
