Website Audit
Website Audit
Project details
What we need
- Feedback on the current website’s layout, user functionality, mobile-friendliness, visual design, content, and other key features
- Clear articulation of the Organization’s goals for the website
- Recommendations for improvements to help achieve the Organization’s desired goals
- Note: If you are looking for a more specific, in-depth audit of your website's design and usability, try our Website Usability Audit project
Additional details
We would like details on the following: making it more user friendly (especially for mobile phones), improving the layout and design, ability to be more interactive with regular news updates and moving photos, consolidate headings into (about or who we are; our work; who we serve (with client testimonials); news & events; how you can help and donate. Our Donate section also needs installation.
What we have in place
- We currently have a GoDaddy accout managing our web-site, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have other programmatic information, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,762 , allowing us to use general operating resources to support our move to a new office location and assist in renovating the space to accommodate a community wellness center, youth education programming, food pantry etc
Web-sites are the first thing people peruse after being introduced to / hearing about an organization. AFAHO has been focused so much on our direct services that some of these other critical administrative components have not received the necessary attention. Having the world pause during these last few months with almost everything being done virtually made the need for an updated, user friendly web-site more pronounced.
Project plan
Our mission
The African Family Health Organization (AFAHO) is a non-profit, ethnic, community-based organization that supports African and Caribbean immigrants and refugees (ACIR) to access critical health, social and educational programs in the greater Philadelphia area. We work to mitigate barriers, strengthen community health culture and facilitate social integration through the utilization of a unique peer support model that uses shared language, cultural expertise, advocacy, and system navigation knowledge to help individuals and families overcome social determinants, build community connections, and gain information and resources needed to thrive and improve their health outcomes.
Testimonials
Even though we did not get to complete the project due to my schedule (no fault of Sheryl's) she was consistent and helpful during our interactions.
