What we need
- Updates and/or fixes to Organization’s existing website (e.g., bug fixes, plugin or widget integration, etc.)
- Training for up to 3 Organization staff members on how to resolve minor issues going forward (if applicable)
Additional details
Specifically, we need help with CSS coding for some glitches in our Weebly set-up.
What we have in place
- We currently have a mostly very effective website and tech-smart staff support, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have understanding of the CSS issues that need to be addressed, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,757 , allowing us to provide more direct service to essential workers and others seeking ways to come together and offer support
Our work has enormous resonance right now in helping communities come together, and we see traffic to our site increasing dramatically. We don't have enough expertise in CSS coding to work through the glitches.

Our mission
Center for Council delivers programs and trainings that promote communication, enhance well-being, build community, and foster compassion.
What we do
Our work enables individuals to cultivate tools for improved communication, find common ground with others and create healthy, compassionate and thriving communities. Council fosters recognition of our shared humanity and interconnectedness and enables individuals to give voice to their stories, to develop mutual respect and compassion for others, to cultivate a wholesome response to challenges and stress and to strengthen wellbeing and resilience in themselves and beyond. We like to call it the "ripple effect."
Council practice is at the core of all of our programs. It represents an amalgam of teachings, wisdom traditions and schools of thought from around the globe, blended with science-based mindfulness practices and modern communication techniques developed over several decades. Council offers skillful means for building bridges and developing connection in an increasingly divided world, a tool that can and should be available to all people of all walks of life.
