What We Have In Place
  • Our current social media presence on instagram is just under 2k, on twitter its just above 3k, and on Facebook its just above 5k followers. We want to grow our presence on social media and create a social media calendar that is organized yet flexible and specific to our audience.
    We currently have clear goals and understanding of our target audience, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a staff member who is ready to prioritize this project, and the ability to provide
How This Will Help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to use those resources for engagement work for our projects in Highland Park (Los Angeles) and with Native American communities in South Dakota.

Our company has been making community-engaged theater for 30+ years and had a positive impact on many individuals. We need our social media to show our core values but still be engaging and intriguing to draw in a larger audience. We hope that a strategically planned calendar will help us engage our current constituents better, attract new people and increase our visibility.

Project Plan

Prep: Audit & Planning
  • Volunteer Manager shares social media credentials and existing marketing materials with Professional
  • (If applicable) Professional audits existing social media account to determine which content types are performing best
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional discuss & agree upon target audiences, content types, and posting frequency
Milestone 1: Calendar Structure Creation
  • Professional uses Google Sheets, Excel, Airtable, or comparable software to set up content calendar structure
  • Volunteer Manager reviews and provides feedback, which Professional incorporates
Milestone 2: Content Creation
  • Volunteer Manager shares raw materials (photos, quotes, stories, etc) that Professional needs to create content
  • Professional creates up to 4 weeks’ worth of social media posts (approximately 12-20 posts) and inputs into calendar
  • Volunteer Manager reviews and provides feedback, which Professional incorporates
(Optional) Milestone 3: Content Scheduling / Software Setup
  • Professional connects Organization’s social media account to a scheduling software like Buffer or Hootsuite
  • Professional sets up and schedules up to 4 weeks of posts in scheduling software
