Project details

What we need
  • 3-5 one hour strategy sessions with a marketing professional covering topics like marketing channels, messaging, branding and target audiences
  • A written summary of marketing goals, target audiences and channels to prioritize
  • A starter plan of recommendations & actionable next steps to begin executing your strategy
  • Note: This project does not include the creation of content such as emails, print materials, or social media posts
Additional details

The volunteer needs to understand that our client base is older, limited English, and limited technology proficiency. They need lots of assistance applying for social welfare.

What we have in place
  • We currently have a website and social media presence (FB, Twitter), which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have monthly newsletters, e-blasts, and WeChat, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,408 , allowing us to spend more time with clients and addressing their needs and dedicate resources to enriching the lives of the community.

This project is important for us as many of our constituents rely on our services for day-to-day needs, such as health insurance, social welfare, and more. We also provide various programs to enrich the lives of the youth and seniors within the Chinatown community. Given the current COVID-19 situation, it more important than ever for us to have clear channels of communication and an established strategy to meet the needs of our community.

Marketing Strategy Consultation Project

It was a wonderful experience working with PCDC! The executive team and others in the organization were so gracious, professional and easy to work with from beginning to end. This organization meets a unique need in the community and is filled with bright and talented people who truly care about the work they do. We explored several areas of branding, marketing and organizational development including values, vision, mission, brand story and an elevator pitch. Ultimately we crafted a handful of targeted and compelling value propositions. I believe in the work at PCDC and wish them all the best!
