(Short) Animation Creation

Project details

What we need
  • Up to 3 short animations to be used in further marketing content (short videos, gifs, website content, etc)
  • Guidelines on how to use the animations in accordance with other content
What we have in place
  • We currently have a written script for the animation creation, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a voice over recording of the script from the founder, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to receive more training on social and emotional learning, so we can give our youth active mentors who are continuously learning and aware of their social and emotional needs.

We want to create a story that encourages youth participation, and highlights how the organization is more than just a sports program. How we promote education, build communities, and foster change in Metro Detroit.

Prep: Distribution of Prep Materials
  • Volunteer Manager shares with Professional the intended platform(s) where animations will be posted, ideas for content, and images to include in the animation (if any)
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional discuss the objective of the animation, key audiences, and visual branding guidelines
  • Volunteer Manager shares examples of animations they like with the Professional

Milestone 1: Preliminary Design
  • Professional drafts animations using different themes to share with the Volunteer Manager
  • Volunteer Manager chooses one draft as a primary theme and provides feedback

Milestone 2: Animation Creation
  • Professional provides Volunteer Manager with first draft of animation
  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with up to two rounds of feedback

Milestone 3: Final Animation Delivered
  • Professional delivers final version of the animations and explains how to include the animations on the organization’s chosen platform(s)

Our mission

At Bat is striving to increase the number of at-risk youth who participate in baseball and softball by providing free clinics and low-cost programs.

What we do

Baseball and Softball Clinics: Introduce youth ages 6 to 13 to the fundamentals of baseball and softball. Youth engage in pitching, catching, and hitting drills.

After-School Program: During the school year, Kindergarten to 8th grade students learn baseball and nutrition fundamentals, build self-esteem, and apply academic concepts to real-life examples through structured activities.

Baseball and Softball Camp: During the summer, youth ages 6 to 13 engage in baseball and softball drills. We partner with local community organizations where there is a limited amount of or no sporting organizations available within the community. We take pride in giving youth who never had the opportunity to learn baseball and softball a chance.
