Project details

What we need
  • Feedback on the current website’s layout, user functionality, mobile-friendliness, visual design, content, and other key features
  • Clear articulation of the Organization’s goals for the website
  • Recommendations for improvements to help achieve the Organization’s desired goals
  • Note: If you are looking for a more specific, in-depth audit of your website's design and usability, try our Website Usability Audit project
Additional details

We need help improving the accessibility/coherence of Solar Austin's mission/organization structure, events, donation/subscription channels, and much more. We are really trying to learn how to best update/improve the overall site function/design.

What we have in place
  • We currently have a simple Wordpress website template, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a staff member ready to lend an extra hand, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,350 , allowing us to channel our limited resources to support our nonprofit's pilot programs!

All of our resources are currently going to growing our solar education and internship programs, meaning these vital marketing materials continue to fall behind. It's become apparent that Solar Austin's dated website is impairing our outreach and fundraising initiatives.
