Website Construction (CMS-Based)
Website Construction (CMS-Based)
Project details
What we need
- Development of a new website using a Content Management System (CMS)
- Training to ensure Organization's staff members can update content and manage the site post-launch
- Note: This project is for a website built with a Content Management System (CMS), such as Wordpress, Squarespace, Joomla, Drupal, or Weebly . A CMS-based website can be maintained and updated easily (no coding required!)
Additional details
We are a community theatre looking to update/relaunch our website. Currently a Google site, we are looking for a CMS website that, once running, we can manage internally. Currently, our ticketing system is integrated, and we may be adding a calendar system as well. Right now, we know we are content-heavy, and we would like something that makes a bigger/better visual impact that aligns with our brand.
What we have in place
- We currently have a website: www.a2ct.org, as well as social media presence on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Our public library has an archive of photos and posters and publicity and such, available at www.aadl.org/a2ct. We can provide you with logos and photos as well.
How this will help
This project will save us $16,822 , allowing us to actually update our website. Especially with the interruption of COVID 19, we would not have the capacity to make these upgrades, which will help us as we re-open post-COVID.
Ann Arbor Civic Theatre celebrated its 90th season during 2019-2020, though it has been interrupted. Prior to our 19-20 season, we made quite an effort to streamline our look, and bring our digital presence in line with the quality of theatre we are capable of producing. The website, while better than it once was, is a HUGE part of that overhaul, and one of the remaining large puzzle pieces we still need.
Project plan
Our mission
Ann Arbor Civic Theatre is a community theatre group. We exist to provide opportunities for the members of the community to participate in theatre. A2CT values and promotes creative excellence and personal artistic growth through:
Presentation of quality theatre performances
Open invitation for participation in all aspects of theatrical production
Development of talent through educational, apprenticeship, and performance opportunities
Testimonials
Ruth was wonderful! She is very attentive to the needs and wants of her clients, and was great to work with. She really walked us through step by step and when the final product was ready, we felt really confident that we could maintain the site, especially since she encouraged us to reach out if we had any further questions.
