What we need
  • An edited 1-3 minute video delivered in electronic format as agreed upon between the Professional and Organization, with HD quality as a master version, along with any agreed upon formats for final usage
Additional details

We have video footage that has been transferred/transcribed using Rev.com. We need several small portions of that footage to include in a grant report. We don't have the knowledge or software to manipulate the video.

What we have in place
  • We currently have the transcription and downloaded video, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have time to connect, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $15,102 , allowing us to put more resources into the educational materials we are providing to funeral directors.

The video will be used to report back to our funders, Funeral Service Foundation, on our grant project: Following the Death of a Child. It will enable the foundation to see first hand how the project is assisting funeral directors when working with a family following the death of a child.

Prep: Information Sharing & Asset Exchange
  • Volunteer Manager provides overview of vision and goals for video, as well as information about target audience
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional agree upon file format and length of video
  • Volunteer Manager collects collateral (e.g. raw video footage, photos, testimonials, media materials) to be edited into the video, and digitizes all the materials in the format and resolution suggested by the professional. If applicable, the Organization provides links to 3-5 videos it would like the professional to use as a creative guideline for the final product

Milestone 1: Video Outline & Script Finalization
  • Professional reviews assets that the Organization shared (including existing footage and proposed script) to create video outline
  • Professional shares with Organization and incorporates feedback

Milestone 2: Video Creation & Feedback
  • Professional creates video in agreed upon format and shares with Organization for feedback (up to 2 rounds)
3
Milestone 3: Final Video Delivery
  • Professional delivers final video in agreed upon format
