Additional details
Open Door Preschool is an Austin institution. Since 1975 Open Door has been nurturing and inspiring young children of diverse developmental needs, economic levels, and family backgrounds. Each year Open Door hosts a fundraising event attended by our parent community and city leaders. We are seeking a designer to create an event logo and invitation for our event. The theme of our event is Hope Blooms...45 Seasons of Open Door.
What we have in place
- We currently have past event logos and invitations, and marketing materials, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have dedicated, responsive and creative staff, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,817 , allowing us to spend less money on the event and allocate more money for our mission. Our budget is extremely lean and any money saved will support the immediate needs of Open Door.
Open Door relies on our annual fundraising event to fund our Family Support Specialist who work with our most vulnerable families and to fund specialized programs and therapists for our children with special needs.

Our mission
Our mission is to
nurture and inspire young children of diverse needs, economic levels, and family backgrounds in an engaging educational environment.
What we do
We are Austin's first NAEYC-accredited preschool program, founded on serving children with disabilities together with their typically-developing peers. With three locations in Austin (and plans for a fourth) we accept families receiving publicly-subsidized tuition, and raise additional funds in order to subsidize tuition for those who fall in the gap. 25% of our students have a disability, and 35% receive tuition assistance.
