  • Written or virtual training materials that can be used for future trainings
  • Advice on frequently asked interview questions

Additional details

Seeking resources to interview volunteers for a new program we are developing. These volunteers must be carefully screened; they will be working alongside and coaching individuals with special needs.

What we have in place
  • We currently have some starting interview questions, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have clear goals, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,430 , allowing us to develop a program that will bring hundreds of volunteer hours to other local nonprofits and will develop independence and confidence in the participants in the program.

We want to find volunteers who care deeply about the special needs community and want to be actively support the participant we pair them with. We are excited about the COACH program we are developing; we are confident that the key to the success of the program will be finding dedicated volunteers who will put thought and care into supporting our participants.

Testimonials

Lorraine was an incredibly insightful and resourceful volunteer to work with from start to finish. She brought years of expertise from her experiences in the field of Human Resources and she was extremely generous in sharing her personal training to contribute to our project. She additionally demonstrated great flexibility and adapted the tools and content she developed for our COACH project to fit our exact needs. I would highly recommend Lorraine for any Catchafire project; she was delight to work with!
