- Review of current board policies and procedures
- Document outlining best practices for meetings and communication, including cadence and tool recommendations

The Bernardine Franciscan Sisters Foundation has a Board of Directors Policies and Procedures Manual. Over the years, it has been reviewed by the Directors; however, it has never been reviewed by anyone outside the Foundation. I would like a professional to critique it, relevant and necessary, removals, changes, and the like.
What we have in place
- We currently have a Policies and Procedures Manual, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have possible access to other Foundation manuals, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $7,610 , allowing us to put this money toward grants to nonprofits working on the VA Peninsula.
Every governing body needs policies and procedures which guide them in the accomplishment of their roles and responsibilities. A group can function more efficiently and effectively if they have guidance and reasonable structure.

The Foundation's Mission is to further the mission of the Bernardine Sisters of the Third Order of St. Francis by financially supporting and promoting their charitable works as well as works related to the healthcare, education and human service needs of the Virginia Peninsula.
