What we need
- Up to 3 customized and professionally designed graphic(s)
Additional details
We're so thankful when donors make gifts in tribute of a loved one or in celebration of a milestone event. Often, when our donors make tribute gifts they ask us to notify the honoree. Right now, our gift notifications just don't reflect how excited and grateful we are. We are hoping YOU can help us fix that!
We're seeking 3 complementary banner graphics for email and print gift notifications for each of the following tribute types: 1) in honor of, 2) in memory of, and 3) milestone donations.
What we have in place
- We currently have a HomeFirst Brand Manual, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have some general ideas for the graphics, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,002 , allowing us to devote more funds to our programs and shelters.
These graphics would help HomeFirst fulfill the donor's wish to have their honoree notified in a way that is not only visually appealing but also accurately show how much these gifts mean to us as an organization. We hope that the improved acknowledgement will encourage donors to make more tribute donations to our mission of ending homelessness.
Project plan
Our mission
HomeFirst confronts homelessness by cultivating people's potential to get housed and stay housed.
What we do
HomeFirst Services of Santa Clara County is the leading provider of emergency shelter and supportive services to individuals and families experiencing homelessness in our community. We provide services at every step of the journey from homeless to housed: from street outreach to affordable housing. We know there's no one solution to homelessness. That's why HomeFirst has adopted an "all of the above" approach, seeking creative and innovative best practices from across sectors!
We operate two year-round shelter sites: a 250-bed, adults-only shelter in the City of San Jose, the Boccardo Reception Center (BRC), and a 175-bed shelter for families and adults in Sunnyvale, CA. In addition to our shelter sites, we also operate the street encampment Outreach Teams within the City of San Jose as well as the city's Overnight Warming Locations (OWLs) that open during inclement weather. We also run two seasonal cold-weather shelters between November and April in Gilroy and Mountain View. And with a program that we can trace back all the way to our agency's founding in 1980, we provide transitional, affordable housing at two family living centers!
