Additional details
We are a small organization. Some current board members are in their 90's. The pool we can draw on is restricted by our mission in that we are trying to serve locally, and we are defined as a group made up of people from local religious congregations, although we might accept unaffiliated members. The early group included influential clergy persons, who recruited board members. that's not the case now. I intend to send a letter to staff at congregations but haven't yet. How this will help
This project will save us $7,822 , allowing us to Considering the size of our board and our all-volunteer nature, what the project will save is hours rather than dollars. It will allow us to communicate better with our community.
A few of the officers now are doing most of the work. Additional enthusiastic board members will allow us to reach more of our community.

Our mission
Religious Action for Affordable Housing (RAAH) seeks to achieve a significant increase in the supply of permanently affordable housing in Washtenaw County, in collaboration with religious congregations and non-profit housing groups. RAAH directs financial contributions to efforts that increase housing opportunities for low income households. Our all-volunteer organization also provides educational presentations to congregations, and our members advocate before governmental bodies. RAAH seeks to leverage funds for affordable housing and supportive housing through local service agencies.
