What we have in place
- We currently have a website: takerootjustice.org, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a team that is committed to working on this, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,762 , allowing us to represent tenant organizations in two buildings by suing landlords are not maintaining safe and sanitary conditions.
TakeRoot is a new organization building on a deep history, launched less than a year ago. Our website was a key tool of our launch as an independent organization but we have passed that stage. We are looking to build on our 18+ years as innovators in the field of community lawyers and communicate clearly about the issues we work on to our constituencies.
