What we need
  • Audit of existing Employee Handbook, or internal communications regarding employment policies
  • Edit or creation of a new Employee Handbook, which may include any of the following: Standards of Conduct, Work Schedules, Leave Policies, Termination Policies, Safety and Security, Anti-Discrimination policies, Compensation and Benefits policies, any Non-Disclosure Agreements or Conflict of Interest statements that may apply, and any other pertinent information

Urban Roots needs someone to help review and update our current employee handbook.

What we have in place
  • We also have a current employee handbook. We just need to have it updated to provide clarity to our staff.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,430 , allowing us to hire an alumni youth intern to maintain our social media pages during summer programming.

This project is important to our organization because as a small non profit that is so focused on our mission and the work it entails - we do not have an HR professional on staff. With our current handbook, it raises questions about clarity of policy for our staff.
