Project details

What we need
  • High-resolution logo delivered in vector (.ai, .svg, .eps) and raster (.png, .jpg, .tiff) file formats for digital and print use.
Additional details

Our Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event here in Rochester, NY is celebrating 25 years in 2020. For this year's event, we want to incorporate our existing logo into a special image that we could use throughout 2020 that incorporates the 25th anniversary, as well as including some local Rochester specific items (i.e. Lilacs, the bridge downtown, the skyline, etc.). This would be used on media such as: website, social media, tangible products, flyers, and more.

What we have in place
  • We currently have an existing general logo for the event, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a color pallete that gives brand-specific color details, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,002 , allowing us to invest more in comprehensive support and services, as well as groundbreaking research to save more lives from cancer.

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer in Rochester is the American Cancer Society's largest fundraising event in our area. It typically raises about $500,000 annually, and had 14,000 participants in 2019, which also makes it the largest fundraising event in the area as far as participants. We really want to make 2020 extra special since it is our 25th anniversary. Funds raised help the American Cancer Society's mission to save lives, celebrate lives, and lead the fight for a world without cancer.

Our mission

The American Cancer Society's mission is to save lives, celebrate lives, and lead the fight for a world without cancer.

What we do

The American Cancer Society is a nationwide, community-based voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem. Our Global Headquarters are located in Atlanta, Georgia, and we have regional and local offices throughout the country to ensure we have a presence in every community.

While most people know us for our research, we do so much more. We attack cancer from every angle. We promote healthy lifestyles to help you prevent cancer. We research cancer and its causes to find more answers and better treatments. We fight for lifesaving policy changes. We provide everything from emotional support to the latest cancer information for those who have been touched by cancer. And we do it all 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
