Remote or Hybrid Work Team Strategy
Remote or Hybrid Work Team Strategy
Project details
What we need
- A 1-2 page written document that summarizes the Organization’s needs and goals for effective remote/hybrid work
- Best practices and tips for the Organization’s remote staff members, including recommendations on the best virtual collaboration tools, such as Slack, Google apps, Zoom, etc.
- Recommendations for managing projects with remote/hybrid staff, including how to set up a digital workspace for easy collaboration, and how to establish communication styles and structures that support effective teamwork
What we have in place
- We are looking to create a strategy document focused on best practices for remote work. We depend on remote work for the majority of our work and are looking for ideas and best practices to help us do this effectively.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,776 , allowing us to utilize organizational resources to support the work of empowering and equipping community leaders to make a difference in the communities they serve.
We are a young organization that relies on remote work because we do not have an office space. Remote work also allows us to communicate regularly and broadens the employee and intern candidate pool to more than just local applicants.
Project plan
Our mission
Empowering immigrant, minority and indigenous leaders to fight poverty and injustices through small-sale, grassroots community efforts by empowering leaders to be the change-makers their communities need.
What we do
Solutions to poverty and injustice must be led by people from within the community. We help people build their skills for leading social change locally. Cultivate exists to empower & equip community insiders and their allies through leadership development and capacity-building programs to transform their communities through asset-based community-led development. We work with people domestically and internationally to help them launch and lead nonprofit organizations (or NGOs, INGOs, or charitable organizations) which address their community's struggles against poverty, oppression, racism, injustice, and marginalization so that they can be community change-makers.
