Website Construction (CMS-Based)
Website Construction (CMS-Based)
Project details
What we need
- Development of a new website using a Content Management System (CMS)
- Training to ensure Organization's staff members can update content and manage the site post-launch
- Note: This project is for a website built with a Content Management System (CMS), such as Wordpress, Squarespace, Joomla, Drupal, or Weebly . A CMS-based website can be maintained and updated easily (no coding required!)
Additional details
Our nonprofit is moving our weebly website to WordPress. We have a user-ability audit that we would like to follow. We also have examples of other websites for ideas for the theme.
What we have in place
- We currently have a website and are just moving things over to WordPress, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a user ability audit that we can follow, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $16,822 , allowing us to educate and attract volunteers with ease.
The updated website will help our donors, volunteers, and partnerships be able to locate everything needed with the new website.
Project plan
Our mission
Ocean Blue Project is a grassroots environmental charitable organization with a Mission to protect the health of humans, our One World Ocean, beaches, and rivers through collaborative community driven plastic pollution relief, service learning projects, scientific research, and youth education.
What we do
Ocean Blue Project is an authentic grassroots nonprofit on a mission to clean the ocean. Our goal is to rehabilitate and conserve the world's waterways, which will allow for healthier human and wildlife communities. We dive into plastic recovery projects that protect people from cancers and disease and engage communities in pollution relief, river restoration, and youth education programs that encourage intentional stewardship of the earth and wildlife.
Testimonials
Christian rebuilt our website from a Weebly platform to a Wordpress platform. He brought clarity to our site and followed a Usability Audit completed by another Catchafire volunteer. With his web building skills and team player attitude, Christian can build a custom site that looks better than imagined and is a pleasure to work with. He understand non profit needs and what donors are looking for and we hope to continue working with Christian in the future.
It was amazing with with the Ocean Blue Project team! Richard and Karisa are such a pleasure to work with. I love what their organization stands for and what they're doing for the community. They were responsive and attentive, it made working with them such an ease. I am happy to work for them more in the future and help their cause.
