Project details

What we need
  • A compelling narrative, or set of stories
  • Persuasive copy that can be used in appeals to donors, annual reports, grant applications, and media relations
  • Popular examples: Organization's founding story, a program achievement or milestone, a look back at the past few years, organizational backgrounder, etc.
  • Note: This project is not intended to support your general content planning or marketing but there are several projects in our Marketing & Communications category which are a good fit!
Additional details

Creation of two profiles of current residents to highlight the challenges of the journey to seek asylum and the wonderful abilities of those who are forced to make this journey. We would be open to the creative ideas of the volunteer we engage with to modify this deliverable to most effectively tell our story and attract additional supporters.

What we have in place
  • We currently have seven individuals living at Casa with compelling stories, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have pictures of the home and grant applications with our history, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $1,429 , allowing us to pay the costs of operating the home, including paying the house manager, utilities of the home, transportation and food needs of those living at Casa.

This project will improve our ability to communicate the critical importance of our work. The content that is developed will be used in presentations before churches and community groups; to update our website; to expand our social media presence; and to appeal to individuals and foundations for sustainable funding.

What an amazing place. What they are doing is so important and worthwhile. I was so happy to be able to help with telling the story of one of their residents.
