What we have in place
- We currently use WordPress Elementor for our website. Looking tomake improvements to SEO, increase traffic and donations.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,757 , allowing us to keep our support groups, therapy, criminal justice advocacy programs free for families.
This will allow us to better serve families impacted by violence in our community.

Our mission
Homicide Survivors, Inc. is on a mission to help meet the crisis and long term needs of families of murder victims through support, advocacy, and assistance.
What we do
In the last year, our organization has supported families of homicide victims by:
Advocating on behalf of their victims' rights on over 90 criminal cases, prosecuted at the county and federal level;
Providing emotional support and direct services to over 2,000 individual survivors through traditional support groups and hosting annual memorial events such as the National Day of Remembrance for Murder Victims and National Crime Victims Rights Week Candlelight Vigil;
Offering alternative therapies, such as Trauma informed Yoga and Equine Therapy to promote healing;
And providing over $17,000 in direct emergency financial assistance for expenses such as rent and utilities, travel related expenses and lodging for families to attend court, as well as cemetery plot donations.
