Website Minor Update
Website Minor Update
Project details
What we need
- Minor updates to Organization’s existing website (e.g. adding new copy and/or images, customizing styles/themes, basic layout revising, etc.)
- Training for Organization staff on how to make minor updates going forward (if applicable)
Additional details
We are rolling out some exciting new content to help educators, program directors and other adults looking to teach youth about the importance of community service. Our long-time UI designer has moved on to her own start up and we have a couple new pages that need to be designed to accompany this new content on our website www.projectgivingkids.org. We really need some help ASAP and are looking for a designer who can help us move quickly to the final UI needed to close out these new pages.
What we have in place
- We currently have Content and UI for two of the four (or five) new pages, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have icons, style guide and staff to assist with ideas/build out, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,666 , allowing us to direct funds toward the marketing of this new content and other staff efforts which drive our content-rich platform.
This one-of-kind new content is going to take the educational aspect of our website to a whole new level. We are eager to roll it out, but do not have the design expertise in-house to finish the preliminary designs. Getting someone involved quickly to help us hammer out the final design details and implementation issues will be a huge step forward, as the content is almost completely finished and ready to roll.

Our mission
Project Giving Kids is a 501 (c)(3) public charity that uses technology to Connect Kids to Causes. The goal: to cultivate empathy in young children by connecting them to age-appropriate service opportunities at a critical time in their development and to strengthen the overall capacity of the nonprofit sector by uniting existing nonprofits with new volunteers and donors. Project Giving Kids (PGK) does this through an easy-to-navigate online platform designed for kids. Ultimately, PGK aims to become the go-to resource for kids (and those who love kids) looking to give back. By taking the time to partner with quality nonprofits providing fun opportunities to make a difference, Project Giving Kids take the guesswork out of the equation and provides great ideas that allow kids to begin the giving journey, anytime and anywhere.
