Email Marketing System Set Up

What we need
  • Set up of Organization's account in email marketing software (possible tools include Mailchimp, Constant Contact, Campaign Monitor)
  • Imported contact list into software with guidance on list cleaning & management
Additional details

We have brought on two interns to our organization and one of their projects is to get our MailChimp set up and to create content. They have never used MailChimp (or any other software) and my personal skills are rusty. We need to learn!

What we have in place
  • We currently have MailChimp account, contacts imported, and a few emails sent, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have past emails that can be workshopped, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,640 , allowing us to tell our story better, and raise more funds so we can put diapers on more babies!

We really need to maximize our use of email. We aren't doing it effectively and want to change

Prep: Software Selection & List Sharing
  • Professional and Volunteer Manager meet to discuss goals, budget, and needs for email marketing
  • Professional recommends software based on Organization's needs and budget
  • Volunteer Manager shares CSV of contacts with email addresses, first names, last names, and any other relevant information

Milestone 1: Set Up
  • Professional sets Organization's account up in selected software
  • Professional instructs Volunteer Manager on how to verify Organization's domain so that Volunteer Manager can send communications on behalf of the Organization
  • Professional imports contacts into account

  • Professional trains Volunteer Manager and other relevant staff on how to use the new software set up

Our mission

CJDBs core mission is:
To help the elderly, disabled and working poor who earn too much money to be eligible for most free or subsidized services, but who don't have enough money for the services they need.
To distribute diapers, wipes, clothing and baby gear to families with babies suffering from diaper need
To address the diaper gap and its impact on individuals in crisis.
To treat all with respect for the dignity of those we serve is the foundation of our work.
