Project details

What we need
  • 3-5 one hour calls with an events professional covering topics like concept, general structure, logistics, and target attendees
  • A written summary of topics discussed, including event concept and theme, general plan, estimated budget (optional), and articulated goals (feel free to use this template as a starting point)
  • Note: This project does not include on-site event coordination or support on the day of the event
Additional details

Hello! We will be hosting a 10th anniversary celebration this year, and we could use some help in navigating the initial phases of planning, along with broadening our understanding of event best practices for maximum impact.

What we have in place
  • We currently have a staff member and planning committee, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have an annual report, and mission, vision and values, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,002 , allowing us to allocate resources to ensuring young farmers can be their own best advocates and create a better future for agriculture.

We are entering a new phase of the National Young Farmers Coalition as we mark our 10th year and introduce our funders to our new leadership. This gala will serve the dual purpose of sharing out strategic vision and new commitments to the future of agriculture along with engaging our supporters and broadening our support of the Coalition to ensure we have the funding we need to succeed.

Our mission

NYFC represents, mobilizes, and engages young farmers to ensure their success.

What we do

We are farmers, ranchers and consumers fighting to create opportunity for young people in sustainable agriculture in the United States. Our work includes: reforming policy to make land, capital and training accessible for beginning, diversified and organic farmers; supporting a growing network of NYFC chapters; and providing farmer-to-farmer technical resources and support.
