Project details

What we need
  • Research into ideal funder profile(s) and list of sources
  • Development of a list of prospects (up to 15) that fit that ideal funder profile, including contact information when applicable and list of sources
  • Recommendations on areas for further exploration/research
Additional details

Gather information on current corporate support and develop comprehensive list of opportunities to grow existing relationships and research into new potential supporters across regional geography. Experience with Salesforce and CRM tools

What we have in place
  • We currently have existing spreadsheets, lists in Salesforce, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have knowledgeable staff, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,494 , allowing us to provide 50 patients and caregivers with a night of free lodging when they have to travel for cancer treatment.

New staff and events in our region are looking for increased corporate support in terms of sponsorships, participation at events and employee engagement. There is opportunity to grow existing community-level corporate support but staff are focused on managing event logistics and volunteers and don't have the ability to pursue expanded or new relationships. This project will take the guesswork out of our event growth strategies.

Our mission

The American Cancer Society's mission is to save lives, celebrate lives, and lead the fight for a world without cancer.

What we do

The American Cancer Society is a nationwide, community-based voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem. Our Global Headquarters are located in Atlanta, Georgia, and we have regional and local offices throughout the country to ensure we have a presence in every community.

While most people know us for our research, we do so much more. We attack cancer from every angle. We promote healthy lifestyles to help you prevent cancer. We research cancer and its causes to find more answers and better treatments. We fight for lifesaving policy changes. We provide everything from emotional support to the latest cancer information for those who have been touched by cancer. And we do it all 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
