What we need
  • A high-resolution digital version of an illustration that can be used across multiple channels (web, print, and/or merchandising)
Additional details

We are re-doing our self-guided tour map, and feel like it's probably time that we finally get a map that actually reflects the infrastructure of the site. To date we've mostly co-opted maps from advanced master plans and the like, which isn't the best fit for a visitor-facing document.

What we have in place
  • We currently have a few different versions of our site maps, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a decent list of things we'd like to fix, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,607 , allowing us to print more self-guided tour maps (and maybe even print a new big site map for the Welcome Center)!!

With such a large site, it's important to have a map for visitors that is engaging and accurate. Our current map is just okay, but a new one expressly illustrated for this purpose would make a world of difference.

  • Volunteer Manager sends Professional existing branding or marketing materials
  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with relevant background information on the Organization, mission, and core values

Milestone 1: Brainstorm
  • Professional and Volunteer Manager meet to discuss goals, target audience, and how the illustration will be utilized
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional align expectations for the initial drawings and agree upon a timeline

Milestone 2: Preliminary Sketching
  • Professional drafts and presents three concepts for the Organization’s illustration
  • Volunteer Manager chooses a favorite concept and provides up to two rounds of feedback, which the Professional uses to refine the Illustration

Milestone 3: Presentation of Deliverables
  • Professional delivers a final version of the Illustration in digital form
