What we need
  • Well-written and compelling copy for marketing or communication materials; examples include a brochure, blog post, one-pager/fact sheet, fundraising/promotional materials
  • Messaging that is consistent with brand identity, public relations strategy and communications objectives

We are an advocacy organization for victims of violence, trauma and poverty. 2020 is our 30 year anniversary. Our annual campaign begins in April. We are looking for help writing the campaign letter. We have lost Board members and 2 staff in the past month and current staff lacks the writing skills.

What we have in place
  • We currently have main talking points for this letter, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have an example of last years letter, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $945 , allowing us to get our 2020 campaign moving forward on time. We really need a great creative writer. This allows current staff (which is short) to work on the constant day to day demands.

We do not at this time have the staff skills to accomplish this. We are hiring, but will not have a person on board soon enough. This is our 30 year anniversary, we are in temporary locations (we had to move last year). We need a compelling letter to help us move forward.

Our mission

No one thinks straight in a crisis. We all need help to navigate the multiple systems involved with trauma, violence and poverty. HOPE's mission is to empower lives through hope, offering support, education and advocacy to anyone affected by child abuse, sexual assault, domestic violence or homelessness.

What we do

We serve about 1700+ people a year in 2.5 rural counties in SE Minnesota. We have a domestic violence shelter, and offer advocacy and support to those who have experienced child abuse, sexual assault and homelessness. We are the only organization proving these services in our rural area.
