Elevator Pitch Coaching
Elevator Pitch Coaching
Project details
What we need
- Document outlining feedback on pitch delivery with suggested next steps and/or resources
- A script for a 1-minute verbal pitch that communicates your Organization's mission, work, and why people should care
Additional details
Corporate, fund and individual donations are the core contributors to the museum's budget for operation, exhibit development, and future growth. In meeting with potential donors, corporate or individual, an elevator pitch should establish the framework for what follows. The museum's website at chicagomaritimemuseum.org includes mission statement and vision and the scope of the museum offering. An elevator pitch should establish why people should care to donate!
What we have in place
- We currently have funding raising requests and letters, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have experience in the fund raising market, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,397 , allowing us to complete work on a partnership proposal presentation for work with local companies
The museum is only three years old and new exhibit development and museum growth are constrained by the cash budget. The museum competes against several large, well supported museums in the Chicago area in its quest to raise funds. A good elevator pitch should establish from the beginning why CMM is special!
Project plan
Our mission
The mission of Chicago Maritime Museum is to "To preserve and present the heritage of Chicago's waterways." But our real impact is to transform visitors.
CMM Vision:
People in its community will
Know Chicago changed the nation's economy thanks to its people, maritime heritage and location
See that Chicago's evolution was defined by its location between the Mississippi and Great Lakes
Understand the impact of our waterways on our ecology and well being
Appreciate the role our waterways have played in discovery, settlement, trade and recreation
Become more involved with our waterways, for both work and leisure
