Human Resources Call

Call details

What we'd like to talk about

I'd like to develop a better volunteer engagement plan, discuss volunteer jobs, possibly compensation and certainly appreciation. We are lucky to have many current and new volunteers.

Additional context

My organization supports older adults in remaining active and engaged in our community. We have motivated and talented staff who want to ensure our volunteers feel cared for and engaged in their work. We want to create meaningful roles for our volunteers and ensure they remain satisfied with their work.

"Phone calls" are 1 hour, one-time calls with an organization. Learn the difference between volunteering on a Phone call and a Project here.

Our mission

For over 65 years, Whistlestop has helped Marin's older adults thrive through the power of human connections. With an Active Aging Center, nutrition programs, transportation options, classes, social groups and volunteering, Whistlestop is really about enriching the lives of everyone in the community. It's where Marin's older adults and their families come to stay healthy, to connect, to find resources, to make new friends, and to lead rich, vibrant lives.
