What we need
  • An edited 1-3 minute video delivered in electronic format as agreed upon between the Professional and Organization, with HD quality as a master version, along with any agreed upon formats for final usage

We are shooting video interviews with three of our grant recipients in January. We would like help editing.

What we have in place
  • We currently have a clear idea of the deliverables, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a professional videographer and lots of good b-roll footage, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,422 , allowing us to channel that money into grants for student mothers.

We need to do a better job of sharing our message through recipient stories. We have lots of stats and quantitative data but, we're missing the storytelling part.

Prep: Information Sharing & Asset Exchange
  • Volunteer Manager provides overview of vision and goals for video, as well as information about target audience
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional agree upon file format and length of video
  • Volunteer Manager collects collateral (e.g. raw video footage, photos, testimonials, media materials) to be edited into the video, and digitizes all the materials in the format and resolution suggested by the professional. If applicable, the Organization provides links to 3-5 videos it would like the professional to use as a creative guideline for the final product

Milestone 1: Video Outline & Script Finalization
  • Professional reviews assets that the Organization shared (including existing footage and proposed script) to create video outline
  • Professional shares with Organization and incorporates feedback

Milestone 2: Video Creation & Feedback
  • Professional creates video in agreed upon format and shares with Organization for feedback (up to 2 rounds)

Milestone 3: Final Video Delivery
  • Professional delivers final video in agreed upon format

Our mission

Our formula is simple: money for college + quality child care = economic mobility. Each Nana Grant helps cover the cost of child care for one year, renewable for the length of the student's program of study at a Georgia Technical College. Our goal is to remove the uncertainty of continuous, quality child care from the equation so that student mothers can focus on their studies, graduate and have a rewarding, well-compensated career.
