Project details

What we need
  • A visual redo of the Organization's website
  • Design direction based on Organization's desired branding and style preferences
  • Mock-ups of key site pages
  • Commitment to 2 phone calls with a developer to guide initial front-end coding work
  • Note: We recommend this project for custom websites. If your site is built on a CMS platform like Wordpress or Squarespace that offers templates, you may not need this project. Check out our Website Content Plan project for help building a CMS-based website
Additional details

Hi! My name is Clancey, I manage programs for Women's Voices Now, a non profit organization that uses social change film to advocate for women and girls rights. We are in the process of a Website Technical Update project, and it's now time to get branding and visuals to the right level. We are looking for someone who can do this project, which will dictate our branding overall for the organization moving forward! We are looking for someone fluent in Wordpress, and with experience in branding!

What we have in place
  • We currently have almost completed our new website (from a tech standpoint), which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have examples of what we like colors/font wise, from our history, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $9,186 , allowing us to enroll two additional students for our summer program, Girls Voices Now, which teaches documentary filmmaking and community activism to young women from underrepresented communities across LA.

Although we have been able to make a great impact over the past 10 years, we have never gotten clear on our branding as an organization. If we are united and decide what we "look like" we can make sure our organization stands out and is consistent to the greater public. This can attract more people to our website, and legitimize our organization in the eyes of potential partners and funders, which-are essential for the continued impact and growth of our programs.
