Project details

What we need
  • A concise, well-articulated letter (not exceeding two pages) to request funds from individual donors
Additional details

I would like help drafting a letter to social media influencers and asking them to donate to us things that brands send them that are new or almost new. These donations can then go to newcomers. Ideally ,this letter would help us stand out from all the people who must be asking these influencers for things.

What we have in place
  • We currently have materials on our program, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have fully bilingual staff who are very motivated, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,140 , allowing us to use the money to bring more services and resources to unaccompanied minors.

Each year our organization hosts a big holiday dinner for unaccompanied minors and their families with the purpose of showing them that they have a community who cares about them. We try to give them small gifts but we have a very limited budget so the donations we are hoping to get from the letter would help us provide more things to these youth.

Our mission

We assist clients in achieving not just legal status and economic self-sufficiency, but in becoming fully active participants in the social and civic life of our communities.

Our Immigration Service program exists to respond to the needs of immigrants seeking legal immigration help and support services. Our agency helps families that have been separated by the migration experience to reunify through family visa petitions, helps legal residents gain citizenship, assists undocumented battered immigrant women and children obtain legal status, and provides advice and counsel on immigration legal matters.

In addition to providing legal services, we also conduct workshops and educational seminars throughout the community and legal training for attorneys, paralegals, and others who serve the foreign-born community.
