Project details
What we need
- An edited 1-3 minute video delivered in electronic format as agreed upon between the Professional and Organization, with HD quality as a master version, along with any agreed upon formats for final usage
Additional details
We have a lot of footage of our program graduations we'd like compiled into videos we can use on social media, our website, and email communications.
What we have in place
- We currently have a lot of video footage to use, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have TWB branded language, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,422 , allowing us to provide the women in our program with ServSafe exam materials and fees for a whole year.
This project will help us communicate the impact our program has on the women who participate in it. It also shows donors the impact their generosity has on TWB. These videos will hopefully help us with recruiting as well.
Project plan
Our mission
Together We Bake's mission is to provide a comprehensive workforce training and personal development program to help women in need gain self-confidence, transferable workforce skills, and invaluable hands-on experience which will allow them to find sustainable employment and move toward self-sufficiency.
What we do
Together We Bake is a low barrier entry, gender focused workforce training and personal development program. TWB's innovative job training program revolves around a small baking business in which Team Members develop the skills and confidence to gain and sustain employment. Team members master skills in commercial food production, food safety and business administration. The program also covers soft skill development through personal empowerment and life skills groups.
TWB serves low-income women facing barriers to employment including homelessness, involvement with the criminal justice system, recent immigration to the country, domestic violence and/or mental health and/or substance abuse issues. TWB serves low-income women in need in the Washington, DC metro area.
TWB also provides post program support to TWB alumni through outreach efforts. TWB also holds bi-monthly alumni gatherings to maintain personal connections and provide continued support from the TWB family.
