Project details

What we need
  • Recommendations for Search Engine Optimization (SEO) tactics such as link-building campaigns, improvements to website or blog’s architecture, keywords to target within content, as well as proper naming of titles, meta information and images
  • Recommendations for implementing a paid advertising campaign of Organization’s choice, such as Pay Per Click (PPC), and advice on how to determine optimal spending on ads
  • Training on how to evaluate performance of SEM strategy, as well as how to measure key site metrics
  • Note: Google AdWords is one kind of PPC tool
What we have in place
  • We currently have an existing Google Analytics account, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have Google AdWords and a site administrator to implement SEM, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $7,098 , allowing us to cover the cost of transportation stipends for women in our program.

This project will help us with product sales, gaining exposure for donations and volunteers, recruiting for our job training program, and will help us become thought leaders in our industry.

Our mission

Together We Bake's mission is to provide a comprehensive workforce training and personal development program to help women in need gain self-confidence, transferable workforce skills, and invaluable hands-on experience which will allow them to find sustainable employment and move toward self-sufficiency.

What we do

Together We Bake is a low barrier entry, gender focused workforce training and personal development program. TWB's innovative job training program revolves around a small baking business in which Team Members develop the skills and confidence to gain and sustain employment. Team members master skills in commercial food production, food safety and business administration. The program also covers soft skill development through personal empowerment and life skills groups.

TWB serves low-income women facing barriers to employment including homelessness, involvement with the criminal justice system, recent immigration to the country, domestic violence and/or mental health and/or substance abuse issues. TWB serves low-income women in need in the Washington, DC metro area.

TWB also provides post program support to TWB alumni through outreach efforts. TWB also holds bi-monthly alumni gatherings to maintain personal connections and provide continued support from the TWB family.
