What we'd like to talk about
The Battleship Iowa is making a new display called the "National Battleship Registry" NBR http://nbr.pacificbattleship.com/. If you volunteer your name will be viewed by hundreds of thousands.
Additional context
The NBR was started by volunteers 2 years ago but has grown beyond our skill sets. We need WordPress experts to finish it. The Iowa is transitioning into the "National Museum of the Surface Navy" (NMSN), we are expecting over 500,000 visitors a year. Your name will be on the home page of the NBR. The NBR will become a permanent part of the NMSN and be a part of the Museum for decades to come.
"Phone calls" are 1 hour, one-time calls with an organization. Learn the difference between volunteering on a Phone call and a Project here.

What we do
National Museum of the Surface Navy is a forward thinking community oriented museum located aboard the iconic Battleship IOWA at the Port of Los Angeles - our nation's busiest seaport. The National Museum of the Surface Navy raises awareness on the importance of the Surface Navy's role in maintaining free use of the oceans in support of commerce, communications, humanitarian assistance, international relations and American culture through education, veterans, and community programs.
