What we need
- A Membership Strategy document of 2-4 pages, including analysis of the Organization’s current membership program, step-by-step guide to a new or improved program, growth goals and creative outreach strategies

Hello! We need to develop a development and communications plan. Ideally, this would create a plan for CY 2020 or FY 2021 (7/1/20-6/30/21), and a format we could update and use for future years. We have an annual budget of ~$1.5 million, a staff of 22, ~700 volunteers, one major (~$180k) and one minor (~$15k) fundraising event and a yearly statewide giving campaign (~$20k). Our goals are to increase individual and law firm giving and participation.
What we have in place
- We currently have a .75 FTE development director eager to get a plan in place, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a donor who is volunteering input, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,848 , allowing us to serve hundreds of Minnesotans experiencing poverty, including immigrants, families, LGBTQ+ individuals and more.
Our development department has changed in the past several years, along with our organization. Having a plan and goals in place sets us up for success, enabling us to leverage the energy and expertise of our development staff to increase participation and donations.
