Project details

What we need
  • Development of a new website using a Content Management System (CMS)
  • Training to ensure Organization's staff members can update content and manage the site post-launch
  • Note: This project is for a website built with a Content Management System (CMS), such as Wordpress, Squarespace, Joomla, Drupal, or Weebly . A CMS-based website can be maintained and updated easily (no coding required!)
Additional details

We are 46 years young and at times I feel our website is also 46 years old (clearly exaggerating). Our website was never professionally designed and we do not feel expresses our organization well. In summer 2020 we will expand our organization and we would like a website that we can easily make changes to. We would also like our clients to fill out a application requesting meals directly on our website and a portal for our volunteers to check our delivery calendar.

What we have in place
  • We currently have an existing website, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a staff member dedicated to this project, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $121,342 , allowing us to continue our mission and to meet the growing needs in our community for food. We would not be able to do this on our own with out the assistance provided.

We are changing and growing and to a degree I think we are misunderstood. We are far more then our current website expresses. We are a very professional non profit trying to grow with the communities needs and still maintain our integrity and compassion. We will be expanding our agency next summer to include a social enterprise and everything we do will be leading up to that new face of Meals on Wheels.

Testimonials

(No testimonial has been submitted by Catherine)
I loved working with Catherine on Williamsburg Meals on Wheels Branding,Messaging, Story, Strategy and Web design and development. I am very happy to have contributed towards creating and establishing a credible brand "Williamsburg Meals on Wheels” deserves to be. It took roughly 2.5 months of rigorous efforts in Strategy, Design and Development, along with 12+hour call meetings to have the project move at a smooth pace and be completed on time. Catherine & her team were very kind and appreciative of the suggestions I made towards the benefit of project, and that makes things move faster. I really liked working towards this cause as I also go out and give personally. This was a unique way to do something technically.
