Employee Handbook
Employee Handbook
Project details
What we need
- Audit of existing Employee Handbook, or internal communications regarding employment policies
- Edit or creation of a new Employee Handbook, which may include any of the following: Standards of Conduct, Work Schedules, Leave Policies, Termination Policies, Safety and Security, Anti-Discrimination policies, Compensation and Benefits policies, any Non-Disclosure Agreements or Conflict of Interest statements that may apply, and any other pertinent information
Additional details
We are a small agency with 12-15 employees when at full capacity. We merged with another United Way in 2017. Our employee handbook has not been revised since 7/2013.
We are interested in reviewing our handbook to possibly bring it in-line with current human resources generally accepted verbiage, guidelines, and policy.
As a project, we are looking for an H.R. professional who can offer guidance on upgrading our current document and suggestions for recommended additions or deletions.
What we have in place
- We currently have an existing employee manual, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have the willingness, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,430 , allowing us to actually complete this project. Although this is probably an essential project to an organization, it is not a priority budget item. Hiring professional guidance would be difficult to justify.
Having an up to date document will help with risk management and employee morale by removing some of the situational guesswork that may arise from outdated policy or procedure.
