What we need
  • A concise, well-articulated letter (not exceeding two pages) to request funds from individual donors
Additional details

I would like to turn our old letter into something new and fresh. We have used essentially the same document since 2013 and it's time for an upgrade. We do one mailing a year so it is vital it make an impact on our donors.

What we have in place
  • We currently have several past letters, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have ideas for this year's letter, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $1,090 , allowing us to instead use those funds to pay for prescription medication for our patients.

Our organization isn't large; we have 1.2 FTEs and we are both nurses. The annual mailing is our largest fundraising push. It typically starts in December and ends in May. The funds from this campaign allow us to sustain the organization throughout the remaining year.

Our mission

Patient Assist VI (PAVI) is a non-profit benefiting residents of the US Virgin Islands. Our mission is to make sure no patient has to choose between their basic living expenses and the medications they need to be healthy and productive. As of 2019, we have obtained over $2,000,000 worth of prescription medications for our patients! We are seeing record numbers of referrals and because of the generosity of our donors, our patients never pay anything!
