Project details
What we need
- A high-resolution digital version of an illustration that can be used across multiple channels (web, print, and/or merchandising)
Additional details
Our organization would like to get a one-color drawing of the exterior of the library we serve. We have photographs. However, often our small print budget affords only black/graytones on a colored paper. The photos look lousy under those conditions. We think a line drawing / rendering / prospective drawing/ architectural drawing (not sure what the right term is here) would look better and provide an important identifier for our readers.
What we have in place
- We currently have a half dozen photographs, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a draft of a flyer on which we'd like to use the drawing, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to improve our print and online communications.
We want our publications -- both print and online -- to be readily identifiable with the library. In certain circumstances we think the drawing will look more handsome than a photograph. We potentially would use the drawing in emails, on flyers, poster, membership appeals, newsletters, stationary, and certificates of appreciation.

Testimonials
Jacqueline had a very original approach that I would not have thought of on my own. I had little experience working with illustrators, so I appreciated the kind of questions she asked me to try to draw out information about our needs. She was receptive to our request to make revisions. I would request assistance from Jacqueline again, especially if I needed something lighthearted or an item that appeals to kids.
Jody was very considerate and great to work with, and I'm glad to have helped them create an illustration of their building that they can reuse in their publications!
