Employee Handbook
Employee Handbook
Project details
What we need
- Audit of existing Employee Handbook, or internal communications regarding employment policies
- Edit or creation of a new Employee Handbook, which may include any of the following: Standards of Conduct, Work Schedules, Leave Policies, Termination Policies, Safety and Security, Anti-Discrimination policies, Compensation and Benefits policies, any Non-Disclosure Agreements or Conflict of Interest statements that may apply, and any other pertinent information
What we have in place
- We currently have a personnel policy and a Google Folder full of practices, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have office operations info and misc. protocols, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,430 , allowing us to provide additional support to our core mission of supporting small farmers and indigenous peoples organizing for human rights to land, water, food and climate justice in the Global South.
Our organization has grown from 11 to 19 staff in the last year or so. During on-boarding, we identified the need for comprehensive and up-to-date handbook of policies and practices. Additionally, we want to review current policies for compliance, and add an acknowledgement page for staff signatures. Ideally we would also like to develop an accompanying Process Manual that includes non-policy practices, such as s style guide, social media protocol and code of ethics.
