What We Need
  • An expert evaluation of the Organization’s website compared against usability best practices in order to assess an optimal user-friendly and intuitive layout.
    *Note: This project does not include feedback on website content, for support check out our Website Content Audit project
What We Have In Place
  • We currently have Wix, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a staff member who works with the platform that can help, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How This Will Help
This project will save us $3,052 , allowing us to dedicate valuable dollars to provide services and support to the individuals and the families we serve.

The Learning Disability Association of WNY is an organization that provides services and support to adults with learning and developmental disabilities. Our website needs to be a valuable resource for people who currently receive services and people just beginning to navigate this challenging world.

Project Plan

Prep: Distribution of Prep Materials
  • Volunteer Manager shares an overview of the website and describes the target audience and goals of the site
  • Professional and Volunteer Manager outline next steps and agree on project timeline
Milestone 1: Initial Review and Feedback
  • Professional reviews the website interface and compares it against a list of widely recognized usability principles
  • Professional identifies a list of usability problems in the website interface, referencing designs that conflict with usability principles
  • Volunteer Manager reviews report and asks questions about areas for improvements
Milestone 2: Final Website Review
  • Professional provides final report for the Organization outlining recommendations for website usability improvement
