Additional details
Our organization is in dire need of an assessment of our current accounting practices! Bookkeeping systems need to be implemented to assist us in our mission of providing participation opportunities for all of our islands' student athletes. We have been an organization that depends on bank statements...time for a change!
What we have in place
- We currently have bank statements, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have motivated volunteers, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $8,564 , allowing us to cover the high end operating costs of insurance and officials' fees that are the foundation of our organization.
Our organization is dedicated to providing sporting opportunities to all students (public, private, parochial and home schooled) to enhance their educational experience. We provide league play in all sports at all levels. Needless to say the operating costs are phenomenal and we feel that by revamping "how" we do what we do will allow us to reach even more children in the future.

Our mission
The mission of this organization is to initiate, promote and maintain interscholastic athletic competition among public, private and parochial schools in St. Thomas and St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands. We are dedicated to the purposes of promoting clean, fair and well organized athletic contests, helping to promote good sportsmanship between teams, athletes, parents and supporters.
What we do
The St.Thomas-St.John Interscholastic Athletic Association is a not for profit organization that promotes interscholastic athletic competition for all students attending schools in the St.Thomas-St.John school district of the United States Virgin Islands.
Our organization sponsors two fund raising events each year to provide funding to meet the operating costs of our organization.
We schedule interscholastic competitions for all public, private, parochial and home school students within the three sporting seasons. We educate and certify officials under the NFHS who are responsible for officiating at all of our competitions.
We also aid our Department of Education in certifying coaches to enhance students' experiences in sporting events.
Developing students to become vibrant and caring community members in the future is key to our organization's success.
