What we need
  • An edited 1-3 minute video delivered in electronic format as agreed upon between the Professional and Organization, with HD quality as a master version, along with any agreed upon formats for final usage

This will put a professional and polished finish on a volunteer training tool that will be available to thousands of Best Buddies volunteers throughout the nation. This will allow for training that is accessible and useful for participants no matter where they live and when they can learn.

What we have in place
  • For the past 10 years our organization has relied on a PowerPoint presentation to be delivered by volunteers to share our mission's commitment and goals. We have the PPT content, notes, and video footage that has been used to deliver the message. Editing the way this message is shared will help ensure a streamlined, uniform message for all of our volunteers to understand the goals and responsibilities of their participation in our organization. We need your help to make it accessible!
How this will help
This project will save us $5,422 , allowing us to Provide video resources to our thousands of volunteers promoting inclusion for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

This will put a professional and polished finish on a volunteer training tool that will be available to thousands of Best Buddies volunteers throughout the nation. This will allow for training that is accessible and useful for participants no matter where they live and when they can learn.

Prep: Information Sharing & Asset Exchange
  • Volunteer Manager provides overview of vision and goals for video, as well as information about target audience
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional agree upon file format and length of video
  • Volunteer Manager collects collateral (e.g. raw video footage, photos, testimonials, media materials) to be edited into the video, and digitizes all the materials in the format and resolution suggested by the professional. If applicable, the Organization provides links to 3-5 videos it would like the professional to use as a creative guideline for the final product

Milestone 1: Video Outline & Script Finalization
  • Professional reviews assets that the Organization shared (including existing footage and proposed script) to create video outline
  • Professional shares with Organization and incorporates feedback

Milestone 2: Video Creation & Feedback
  • Professional creates video in agreed upon format and shares with Organization for feedback (up to 2 rounds)

Milestone 3: Final Video Delivery
  • Professional delivers final video in agreed upon format
