Project details

What we need
  • A concise, well-articulated letter (not exceeding two pages) to request funds from individual donors
Additional details

My organization has no history of soliciting individuals and businesses. We live in an area with primarily smalll businesses and we would like to solicite them to support our work in Substance Misuse Prevention. Our local community has not been asked to support this work previously, but now that our federal grant has expired, it's time to seek support from the community.

What we have in place
  • We currently have a rack card of our program offerings, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have data from youth surveys about their substance use, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $1,690 , allowing us to keep paid staff to coordinate programs.

We are currently running very low on unrestricted funds and cannot support a paid staff member for the remainder of the year.
