Website Construction (CMS-Based)
Website Construction (CMS-Based)
Project details
What we need
- Development of a new website using a Content Management System (CMS)
- Training to ensure Organization's staff members can update content and manage the site post-launch
- Note: This project is for a website built with a Content Management System (CMS), such as Wordpress, Squarespace, Joomla, Drupal, or Weebly . A CMS-based website can be maintained and updated easily (no coding required!)
Additional details
We must be able to translate the site into Spanish. We would like to use Wordpress and may want to include some customization. We have a new sitemap and are working through all the content.
What we have in place
- We currently have a sitemap, photos, and examples of sites we like, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a volunteer to help with the visual design/layout, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $16,822 , allowing us to put scarce resources back into our program, eg, helping hard to reach families complete their census, which ensures our community gets important resources & is districted appropriately for elections.
Our current site only scrapes the surface of what we do. We would like our new site to have a much more robust description of our work through improved navigation and sub-nav. We're currently working on the copy and getting more photos. So, content will be ready!
