What we need
- A concise, well-articulated letter (not exceeding two pages) to request funds from individual donors

In preparation for Black Maternal Health week, MOMCares wants to craft multiple letters to request money and sponsorship from other businesses and organizations. We would like to create a packet that we can distribute accordingly, entailing what we do, a description of the week's events, our budget, and sponsorship details. We aim to create this in a timely manner in order to allot enough time to plan further logistics.
What we have in place
- We can provide a one-pager of what our organization is about as well as a description of our plans for Black Maternal Health Week. We are working on a budget and can provide necessary information regarding financial need. However, we are also interested in partnership and donations, which we can describe for the letters as well.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,140 , allowing us to use this money for services that support more moms and children in an even better way.
This project will have an enormous effect on the planning of Black Maternal Health Week. It will impact our capacity to put on events like a 5k, a gala, and a donation drive, which all aim to garner support for affected women and children from the community.
