Website Visual Design
Website Visual Design
Project details
What we need
- A visual redo of the Organization's website
- Design direction based on Organization's desired branding and style preferences
- Mock-ups of key site pages
- Commitment to 2 phone calls with a developer to guide initial front-end coding work
- Note: We recommend this project for custom websites. If your site is built on a CMS platform like Wordpress or Squarespace that offers templates, you may not need this project. Check out our Website Content Plan project for help building a CMS-based website
Additional details
We have a custom-designed website and most updates require us to pay our designer to make the change. We are looking to move to SquareSpace where we can have more control and flexibility. We would also like to refresh the look and feel of our site, better communicate our messaging, impact, and thought-leadership in the education and international development space, and make sure we speak clearly and compellingly to our audiences. We could use help from an expert designing/building the site!
What we have in place
- We currently have content and site structure in progress and beautiful images, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have staff members willing to put in time/labor to help the build, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $9,186 , allowing us to dedicate our time and funding to developing an online & text-based teacher training program, which will directly serve our schools, teachers & kids & build the long-term effectiveness of our program.
The ability to build and self-manage a beautiful and compelling website that speaks directly to our audiences and constituencies will not only save us valuable money in development fees, it will also help us raise money and bring in revenue by providing a clear and compelling message to prospective donors and school partners.

Our mission
TeachUNITED is a global non-profit dedicated to reducing poverty and inequality through education. We focus on underserved communities where educational disparities are most acute.
What we do
Every child on the planet deserves access to an equitable and quality education.
Yet 250 million kids around the world still leave school without
critical reading, writing & math skills.
If current trends continue, by 2030 more than 750 million young people will not be on track to acquire basic secondary level skills. A global teacher shortage, estimated to reach 69 million by 2030, makes this learning crisis even more pressing. Without action, more than a quarter of the population in low-income countries -- more than 1.5 billion adults -- could be living in extreme poverty in 2050. Underserved and rural areas are the hardest hit.
TeachUNITED is determined to change that.
Our core belief is that a quality education is possible when students are taught by quality teachers. By providing training, resources, and long-term connections for teachers in underserved communities, we improve student learning outcomes.
