Project details

What we need
  • Document outlining relationship of board to your organization and metrics of board success
  • Document outlining scope of roles within board, including empty seats if applicable
What we have in place
  • We currently have a current Board of Directors' Handbook, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have eight (8) strong BOD members willing to provide input, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $11,314 , allowing us to provide 4 families with one (1) year of in-home education.

This project will lay the ground work for increasing our BOD up to twelve (12) to fourteen (14) from our current eight (8).

Testimonials

I am so please with the experience I have had working with Kate on my first Catchafire project. She always responded to all interaction we had. She provided very professional information in response to all my questions. As a result of the this project Parent Aid will be revising several of its Board of Directors' committees make some changes to our Corporation By-Laws. Without question, if you have the opportunity to work with Kate, I very much recommend that you take advantage of it.

Board Structures & Role Definitions Project

Parent Aid and my liaison made this volunteer experience a great one. Everyone was all in for the input and actions they needed to take care of on their end, so that I could fulfill my role. I also appreciated how they welcomed my outside perspective, while also helping me understand their situation. All this made it a mutually-rewarding partnership!
