What we need
  • Customized and professionally designed graphic(s)
  • Training on how to create and customize graphics using (free) design tools/apps

We want to link the theme of courtyards and climate change. We have a set of 6 measures that individuals or communities can easily implement in their courtyard, under their window. These measures contribute to strengthening the climate stability of the city. People themselves can help to improve the climate in the city. We want to show these pictures as a presentation (PPT) at a lecture, but we also want to use them for presentation on social networks. We want to inform and inspire the audience.

What we have in place
  • We currently have 6 measures, formulated and defined, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have poster (measures have a simple infographic on this poster), and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,607 , allowing us to pay for planting greenery in the selected courtyard in Prague

We prepare two workshops for people who take care of the courtyards in the city, improving their surroundings and forming neighborhood communities. We need to strengthen these local leaders. This is the purpose of workshops and upcoming presentations. The second aim is to show the way to improve the climate through the courtyards (greenery, permeable surfaces, rainwater management). We will share it through social networks also.

  • Volunteer Manager and Professional discuss the objective of the graphic, key audiences, and visual branding guidelines (if applicable)
  • Volunteer Manager shares examples of graphics or memes they like with the Professional

Milestone 1: Preliminary Design
  • Professional drafts three graphics using different themes to share with the Volunteer Manager
  • Volunteer Manager chooses one draft as a primary theme and provides feedback

Milestone 2: Graphic Creation
  • Professional provides Volunteer Manager with first draft of graphic
  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with up to three rounds of feedback

Milestone 3: Final Graphic Delivered and Training
  • Professional delivers final version of the graphic and explains how to upload image(s) to the Organization’s chosen platform(s)
  • Professional trains Volunteer Manager how to create and customize graphics

What we do

We work with communities to bring life back into theirs courtyards. We bring people together and we help to create communities. We help local leaders to debate with neighbors and owners, negotiate and push changes. We promote measures that mitigate the negative effects of climate change in the city and makes the inner city more resilient and better for living. We do excursions, workshops and involve local politicians.
